2007 was a tumultuous year for the champions of the blade – your very own heavy metal ensemble, Insidiöus Törment. A quarter of the year was spent with only one guitarist, and a new drummer had to be found as warranty issues concerning critical components meant that Gamboa had to be withdrawn. However, following successful live appearances as the year drew to a close, there is no reason not to expect great things from 2008.

Soon, new drummer László “the latin donkey” will have his profile on-site and available, so you can get to know this new face. A host of Törment goodies has been uploaded to YouTube – live songs from the last gig in Randers as well as backstage revelations and antics (search for “TV Törment”). This year will bring a select number of live appearances, almost certainly a recording session, possibly a video-shoot, and preferably a lot of metallic fun.

We will try to keep everybody posted as the updates trickle in… to give you a small teaser, it appears that László has a connection in Hungary with a small store of original tour t-shirts from 1989’s Wrecking Balls tour – we hope to make these available to our die-hard fans this Spring.
